The August Derleth Society is a non-profit organization formed in the late 1970’s to actively preserve the rich memory of Wisconsin’s greatest and most prolific author. Our goal is to encourage the study of August Derleth’s work and to preserve the memory of this compelling American writer, publisher, editor, columnist, environmentalist and teacher.

2019 Derleth Day
Guest Speaker Bill Stokes. Saturday, October 12th at the Derleth Center (300 Water St. Sauk City). 1:00-4:00 pm. With a special appearance by Augie Derleth (our own David Schweitzer). There will be books for sale and a couple door prizes. Election of officers will take place at our board meeting from noon to 1:00 pm.
